Ok I need some info, to see as to why my
DA 94 cam chewed out my head & left enough alloy through the engine to make a couple of tin cans.
Before it was a DA 87.
Is there a diffrence in the 2,3,4,5 & 6 journals cos 1 & 7 are fine.

Not to mention the cracked rocker pedestal.

Check the part number with Ford, make sure it wasnt an AU cam.

yeah AU Cam would have had 20% bigger lift on it and quite possable munched your lifters/lobe of the cam/rockers

rockers are fine, bar one pedestal. all the chewing has been done on the head in the journals where the cam sits.

did the AU's have DA94 stamped on them as well?

no, they had WR2A stamped on them. sounds to me like lack of oil on the journals

defd sounds like the oil hasnt been getting to youre cam, checki the journals are not blocked, or the passeges up from the block, sounds like a def lack of oil

There is oil in the journals, but I have been getting low oil pressure since I put in the cam, is there any reason for this?

if youre rocker posts arnt bolted down corectly, you will loose oil pressure from the journas.. even a lil piece of dirt is enuf to let the oil escape from between the head and the rocker posts, this reduces the oil pressure going to the cam, but prob not enuf to cause what happend to u... was the cam rusty or rolling around in dirt when it went in
