Ea Falcon

Just Bought an EA Falcon S, 89 model . Having probs with rough idle and throttle staying high when reving . Seems to take to long to come back to idle for some reason. And if anyone knows any other probs in the EA to watch out for please let me know.

Re: Ea Falcon

It was the TPS (throttle position sensor) on mine. If it's a 3-speed auto then it's only got one, my 4 speed has 2 TPSs the other one for the gearbox computer.

Hi there, I'm pretty new to this as well. Where is the idle screw / throttle body located. I've got a throttle body 1988 EA Wagon with the same problem when hot. Also suspect running rich.
