The EA is a missin'
Im having a problem with the EA with its idle.
Went to start it today and noticed that its got a really rough idle, like its not firing correctly. The exhaust has a "putt putt" kind of sound to it. After asking around I was told it may be the timing was out, but no matter where i place the dizzy it still does it and I have grounded the Single white/red wire aswell BTW. Ive found a dizzy position which i think would be as close as it could be where the motor isnt missing as much and seems to be correct. Also the car starts first crack now in this position. What do you think it could be? This is Running on petrol not LPG BTW. on LPG its even worse. Im not concerned about the LPG since its going to be changed later. Ive checked all vacumn lines and they are securely plugged in.
Any thoughts on what i should check?
thanks in advance
