yeah, alot of people call 250ci ford 6's xflows, but any engine that has its inlet on 1 side and exhaust on the other side of the head is a crossflow.

well. the old 200-250's etc, that were referred to as crossflows have ended, but as for the question about ea ohc, yes they r x-flow, but they just arent referred to as this... the old motors were know by that name cos' being x-flow was an upgrade over the previous non x-flow

Crossflow is a head design rather than a type of head.
Very few headsare not cross flow now days, even lawn mowers, whipper snippers etc.
