My brother has an EA CFI that has had serious issues the past few months. While idling (and hot), it occasionally stalls and will not start again for at least 15 min (sometimes less, but normally more). Occasionally it will not start from cold either, normally on a warm day after sitting in the sun all day (it is generally fine in the morning). This has been extremely frustrating and any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Could also be the TFI module on the side of the dizzy.

To be sure I would be checking out the dizzy first. I had a very similar experience in my NA although it is MPFI. New dizzy and the problem has never re-occurred.

TFI module or dizzy. I had the exact same problem and these were replaced and car ran fine again.
