I am going to put a complete ED Xr6 head on my EA, does anyone know what the performance figures were for the EA (MPI) and ED XR6?

To answer your question, a manual XR6 had a best 0-100 time of 7.2 seconds by Wheels mag - an MPI EA S (which was lighter of course) achieved 7.8.

Dont forget the 0-100 for the ED XR6 requires 2 gear changes, whereas you can leave it in 2nd with an EA....

The standard 3.9 L CFI was 120KW
3.9 L Multipoint was 139KW
and the XR6 EB - ED 4.0 L was 161KW

Thanks guys, thats all I need, recieved the complete head today with injectos & tappet cover, its going on next week if I have enough time with the 5-speed. I also hope to get it dynoed before and after to get some exact figures.
