EB 4.0 into EA S 3.9 CFI - How much trouble?
Just wondering how much trouble I'd be in for if I tried to fit an EB's 4.0 engine, gearbox, and maybe the anti-theft stuff while I'm at it, into an EA series II S-pack with the CFI engine.
Basically I'm considering forgiving the debt of the guy who wrote off my old car (a ZL Fairlane) in exchange for his EB wagon wreck, which would give me a complete engine (sans radiators), transmission, ECU, etc, from an EB, complete with factory immobiliser.
So has anyone done a change like this before, or know just how much would be involved in such a task? I realise the ECUs would have to be switched, and probably 2 or 3 more harnesses wired into the EA... but is it feasable?
