Hi,
my eb series 1 is a bit hesitant when it hasn't warmed up properly, a bit like an old carby engine in the cold. It also stalls sometimes when the air cond is on. Could the injectors need a clean or something? It has been sluggish lately specially low down.

is it a multipoint or a centre point? it could be the base idler.

hey muzz how r u?
i had to fix a EB 1 (has the same 3.9ltr motor) and it was doining a similar thing. Try using some nulon throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush and clean out the throttle and take the base idler off and spray some in there as well to clean it out let the stuff soak the base idler for a bit and give it a shake to get the crap out, just give it all a good spray and scrub with throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush. Its worth a try coz it happens on those motors. Other wise u could try plugs and leads.
