EB1 computer for EB2 fuel system

Im just wondering weather i could run an EB2 fuel system with an EB1 computer?? Im about to purchase an EB2 fuel system for an MPFI conversion, and i cant be bothered with the screwing around for getting smart lock working.

you could go to an EB1 or EA MPFI computer, won't MPFI effect your gas?

narrr... just need to piggy back the gas line onto the end of the fuel rail and it should be sweet... of course ill need to go and get it tuned tho. but id want the entire thing tuned after chaging the entire fuel system anyway
