EBII Fuel Economy?

hey,

what things can i do to my EBII to increase fuel economy?

i am running just normal petrol but i was thinking of running PULP, maybe BP Ultimate

apart from my driving style and running the car in ECONOMY mode what are some other things i can do?

thanks

Daniel

p.s. if this has been covered before i think it would be good to make it a sticky.

Re: EBII Fuel Economy?

extractors will make econemy go down and also running premium will keep the econemy down and running a really good oil eg penrith fully synetic 5 the list goes on but what eceonemy are you aiming at and what type of driving you do eg highway, city etc

Re: EBII Fuel Economy?

I have an 2.5" exhaust, pacemaker extractors, & xh snorkel. I usually get about 450 - 500k's per tank city drivin. They seem to be a pretty fuel hungry engine, they recon that extractors will save you a fair bit on petrol, cant say that i have noticed much of a difference tho.

A guy at the exhaust place told me that if i got a $400 hi flow cat it would save me more money in petrol. didnt really wanna spend the money tho.

Re: EBII Fuel Economy?

To increase economy, ensure that your car is running in tip top condition, and regularly serviced. Do you keep track on how many kms you get out of a tank to get a base reading so you can keep progress on your improvements?
