I'm going to have my brothers Falcon for a week, starting this weekend, and I want to change the timing on it. Some mechanic who got his qualifications from a weeties box has played with it, and it's not right. It is the standard 6 engine.

My questions: Is there a terminal that needs to be shorted in order to override the computer, to set base timing and idle? If so, which one and where is it located?

Other question, what timing is standard on the ED, and what is the best timing if they aren't the same?

Any input would be greatly appreciated...
