Hey guys i recently got an ef fairmont, and i was just wanting to get some ideas on some performance upgrades.
The engine has done close to 300,000km and was once converted to LPG but has since been converted back to petrol but it still runs well for its age.

I was just wanting some ideas on what i can do to get some more KW's outa her, is it a good idea to do mods now? or perhaps wait a bit longer and get the engine rebuit before even starting? I don't plan on any turbo/supercharger mods for a while i was thinking more along the lines of injectors, performance chip, head work etc and I'm willing to spend a few grand to get it all done. Any ideas or mods you have done to your own ef would be a huge help.

cant comment on the motor but last rebuild I did on the e series was at 585 k , exhauste headers and hi flow cat , cam and chip . usual stuff , if you rebuild the motor with a rering then light post and maybe a slight shave as a basic
