I have a ef futura and ever since my car had an argument with a kangaroo, hitting the poor thing in the drivers side head light killing the roo though, when I put my high beams on they only stay on for about 15>25 seconds before having an epileptic fit ( flicking from one side to the other, flicking down to low beam and then) finaly shuting the whole lights off even the dash lights. I have to switch back to low beam fairly quickly to avoid this. Its not the lights or light connections because I recently put a genuin EF XR6 front end on it and it still does it. Could it be the headlight relay? is there a seperat relay for high-beams?

Try cleaning all your battery connections and/or replacing the corroded ones. Also check the earth connections - where the wires/cables bolt to the body and engine.

Yes there is a seperate High beam relay located near your battery i think ? it sounds like the most suspect problem, could also maybe......maybe be ur BEM unit (all the forum junkies will arguee that, but ive herd of it happening!)
