el/ef crank and storing cranks ?????

i just got an el crank at the time i thort it was an ef are the two the same?? my plan was to put it in to a 250 x-flow bilt for strate gas. also what is the best way of storing them with out worping, cant sit it in the block yet coz i need to do the rear main seal to mach the el crank

To store hang the crank vertically (Strong wire or chain).

thanks, there hanging from the roof now, dose any one know if the el and ef cranks the same?? the el one i got has 12 counter whates (2 on each rod)
