my el seems to have a dead spot.when im doing 100kms and i excelerate to over take whether it is hard or soft it seems to miss and when it reaches 3000rpm to tacho bounces around and then takes of.

i wouldnt be able to pinpoint your problem....
but check the basics 1st , spark plugs, leads..ive heard the coil packs sometimes go on them.

is it only at that speed where you accelerate, whats it like when your put ur foot down from stand?

dirty fuel system or injectors maybe, put some good fuel inj./system cleaner thru it(nulon fuel sytem cleaner, i think is what its called -goldish bottle, it works well)

id say it would defin. be a fuel/igniton or ecu sensor prob.
