Hi people, hey could someone with an EL I6 or manual for one do me a huge favour and tell me what the base timing is meant to be? (it'll be on a sticker near the radiator).

I'm not sure if it's meant to be 0 degrees like the EF or whether they went back to 10 degrees because it's back to Dizzy ignition.

Just had a look at mine and the label said:

0 degrees +/- 2 degrees BTDC

Same values for both auto and manual. Mine's an auto EL Series II GLi.
