Hello,

Does anyone own or has worked on a EL XR6 and know if you can hear the fuel injection system going. Like a ticking noise.. is this normal.

I'm new to these cars and its got me heaps worried... any advice?

Yep it's normal, The reason you can hear the injectors is because the sixes are bank fired in two groups of three. On a 5.0 Falcon you won't hear them because the injectors are fired sequentially. On a 5.0/5.8 F100 you will hear them because they are also fired in two banks of four.
