Re: Electronic turbo charger on EBII

its not worth your while,
you'll get 3 psi at most from them things, you'll get more gains from an exhaust!!

they are not worth the money.

cheers.joe.

Re: Electronic turbo charger on EBII

it might not be the Turbo Zet, I have seen ones that can produce up to 7psi, it's was fitted to an MX5.

Mine you on a 4litre falcon it would struggle to make that..

Good idea in theory, not so good in pratice...

Dave.

Re: Electronic turbo charger on EBII

How does the throttle control work I wonder, surely its not pumping in 7psi at idle?

Re: Electronic turbo charger on EBII

Must have some sort of resistor like the old scalextric controls. Lets more through as you accelerate.

Re: Electronic turbo charger on EBII

probably just wired up to a switch so when you hold the throttle flat it turns on.

and i could imagine one of those things working if you put two or 3 in parralel, but the piping would take heaps of space and then you would also need a switch on your alternator to stop it trying to charge when they were on - the drag from current draw would probably be close to the extra hp you make.
