My engine coolant light has come up on my AU Fairmont, and going through the book, I wouldn't have a clue of what to go and buy, and whether I just top it up again? It also says not to mix different grades of coolant together, should I trust my Ford dealer to have used the one that it says in the book? It says R1-32/33 meets the Ford specification WSS-M97-B44C or D, any clue what that is?

And I don't know if I should be pissed off or glad I found out about it, isn't it one of the things that should be checked at service? Seeing I've only done 6,000kms since the last service(60,000kms) and now it's just below MIN, I wonder if they do anything to the cars! All the service places are closed and I need to use the car tonight, any help in the next few hours would be much appreciated, thanks,

Whatever you do DON'T MIX BRANDS!!! Stick with the Ford brand coolant and use a 50% concentration. You should also change coolant every 12 mths as the corrosion inhibiters dissipate and do not work after this time. The anti freeze/boil properties still do which is why people are told 3 yrs. Ford should give the concentrate to you trade if you ask.
