i have a 94 ed falcon which was my first car.. which is also smashed and been pulled apart.

now i have recently bought a 93 eb series 2 falcon.

are the engines the same? i was lookin at putting my engine out of the ed into the eb. are the computers the same? and everything else?
just a simple swap?

the engines are the same- there wouldn't be any performance gain. If the engine in the ED was in better condition that the EB2, the perhaps it would be worth it...but i doubt it if the cars is smashed up.

nah thing is eb2 has overheating probs.. prolly the head gasket.

its not for a performance gain... just a reliability.
just wanted to know if the ecu's are the same and everything so i dont run into any problems

well the engine specs (power, torque, bore, stroke, etc etc) are all identical in the various books...but thats about the limit of my knowledge. I know there are people on here that would be able to answer ur question fully...its just a matter of getting them to post.

i dunno... i will swap them if its needed. just askin what i need to swap. if anything is different. just so i dont sit there kicking the thing when it wont start

Yeah should be a straight forward swap. If it was a series 1 EB then it would be a dif story, cause of smartlock...

So yeah... go for it. Have fun!
