exhaust question

hey guys,

My exhaust is pretty much rooted its standard but every muffler and resonater is leaking if not stuff.. the baffles are broked up and rattle around and its constantly spitting shit out the end or getting cloged abit.. and the exhaust leak sound is just annoying
SO.. i was wondering would a 3in exhaust cat back with 2 sport mufflers be alright or is it too big?
im planning on 3in cause i have a turbo kit getting installed in 2 to 3 months.. i already have the ems/intercooler and exhaust manifold/turbo
but running it stock naturally aspirated would 3in be too much?
