ive just brought extractors for my carby 4.1 xflow xf ute,
they come out to a 2 inch outlet ..
can any one please recomend the correct or best exhaust size to run
any comments would be most appreciated

get a redback 21/2" exhaust.
Any bigger and you'll lose back presure,
which causes loss of h.p.

Well those extractors should be modified or taken bad because they have been designed crap. A single 2" outlet is laughable good for a excel etc.. You want twin 2" secondaries the longer the better that run into a nice collector and then single 2.5" system with s/through muffler. You can use a 2.25" system on a 250 but it would only be useful if you always were under 3000rpm etc. otherwise I'd go 2.5".

yea it depends what you are going to run if you are going to run true-duel
dont waste your time or money it will only sound like shit of a stock or near stock 300 i run a single pipe 2.5" with a hushpower2 muffler and a nice big tip you gety sound and power if thats what you want
