My EA Fairmont Ghia's Fuel Gauge is going faulty I think.
The tank is full but it is reading empty and the low fuel light is on. its not the sender in the tank as the trip computer still tells me I have 450 KM to go on range.
Is it possible to replace fuel gauge in instrument cluster?

Or should I just replace Instrument cluster?

the fuel guage is easily replaced seperately.. before you do, earth the wire out at the sender unit and see what the guage does. if it doesnt move - guage faulty. if it moves to full then the sender is faulty.

Its not the send the trip computer is still getting reading from sender it maybe a bad contack in instrument cluster intermittantly it starts working for a bit.
