fixing up ef block

whats parts can i use to fix up a ef block to get a little bit better wear and maybe power ? can i use au parts and stuff ?

au motors are the way to go

if you are going to go with au stuff either get the whole engine transplant or the bottom end (4 bolt mains is one of the major selling factors.)

i think alot of ppl use au heads on eseries blocks but the way i see it is that you wont be able to get much more out of a au head than a ef/l head if your spending money on both.

this could be bullshit though because what i know is only theory and ive had no real hands on experiacnce with the building of these motors.

well i already got jmm dev 3 hl kit on the head, so will i be able to use an au bottem end on the same head with the same computer

yes use the au bottom end with au head gasket with youre head
