Fuel Pump Hole

Just wondering if anyone has tested a ef fuel pump out of the tank(or know) .
Question being mt EF is dual fuel runs sweet on gas as it did on petrol untill a week ago now (only on petrol) it idles a1 will rev in park to 5/6000 rpm with a couple very small misses but when you try to drive it any thing over 1500 / 2000 rpm it sounds and feels like it's starving for fuel .
So pulled pump out and put into 20L bucket full of fuel / seems to pump fine with good solid flow but if you put your finger partially over outlet pipe the fuel starts coming out off a small square hole in the top of the pump .
Is this normal or is this F*?ked.
Im very pissed as it is booked for a dyno run on monday .

Re: Fuel Pump Hole

Me thinks it is rooted.
I suggest going along to a wreckers and putting one of his pumps in your bucket - if it seems good, try it in the car. Most reasonable wreckers will let you try stuff like that, so long as you do it where they can keep an eye on you.
