2 things....

- Im thinking of changing my fuel pressure regulator in the XR6 to a stock one as my car is running rich as all shit and ive heard people have picked up a little bit of power doing this. Any suggestions?

- Whats the differences between the broadband manifold and the single runner off EA-ED? Why is the broadband the pic of the bunch? The ED XR6 makes good standard power with the single runner, why change it?

the bbm manifold is all about tourque at low rpm. Peak power will not change any where near as much

Is it a bad idea to change my BB manifold to a single runner manifold which has been ported and has shortened runners? It looks easier to run a CAI setup and seems more efficient with the shorter runners. Anyone know about the Fuel Reg? Went to a Ford wreckers today and they qouted me $65.

Assuming your running NA
street use BBM
race ONLY use the single runner if you have 4.11's otherwise save the money keep the bbm.

if your running forced induction use the single runner

get someone confirm this im not 100%

What effect would it have to power delivery and streetability? Would it be an easy install?

I have hear that the BBM actually sacrifices some top end power for torque.
Why would you want to shorten the lenght of the runners?
Porting is a good idea.

I thought the shorter the air travel the faster it will be, hence, giving it less time to heat up. I was thinking of buying an ED manifold, porting it and whacking it on the EL.

the BBM looses arround 2rwkw to the ED manafold iirc.

You may also want to look for an adjustable regulator, then you can tune it in on the dyno for best results.

Putting a fixed runner on your EL will give you a small improvement to high rpm power but you will loose so much through the low and mid range. BBM will give you almost 1sec off your 0-100 times compared with the fixed runner intakes.
