ok. the car idles fine for a little bit... say 30sec..
and the idel just slowly drops and stays areound 200rpm.. and shakes around.
it sill sit at 200rpma nd nearly stall then jump back up to 600rpm then go back to 200 and stay there for a while..

i ahve checked pin 21 on the ecu and it only measures .007volts, however i checked the continuity of the solenoid and it is continuous.

the isc is a little carbonised but i dont think it would be so mcuh as to cause this problem...

i have not removed hte throttle body.. as i am having trouble getting to the bottom bolt closest to engine block...

any ideas?

Have you checked the dle Speed Controller?

Try this;
Under Normal Service Conditions;
The Base Idle should NOT require adjustment.

To Set Base Idle Speed:
Engine at Normal Operating Temperature
Throttle Body Must be Clean

Adjust Cable Tensioner Adjusting Screw to have a clearance of 0.5 mm between; The Screw and the Lever.

Check Fault Codes for Pass Code
Repair any Faults indicated.
Stop Engine (Key to OFF)
Disconnect the Idle Speed Controller Wiring Connector.
Connect a Tachometer.

Start Engine and allow to Idle for 1 Minute. (Do NOT depress Accelerator Pedal)
Idle Speed should be 650 RPM.

If Engine revs not within specifications; adjust Idle Screw to suit.
Stop Engine
Reconnect Idle Speed Controller Connector.
