Re: General Q about CPI--> MPFI

Depends, any injection system in good condition will deliver economy.

So if your CFI is a little worn and the MPFI is in good condition then yes, worst case is you will have same economy but more power (generally economy improves it just depends on condition of the components used).

I did put something here, but it vanshied, I think

"So long and thanks for all the fish!"

Re: General Q about CPI--> MPFI

i think the factory figures are the same, or like 0.1 l/km less for CFI. depends on tranny and diff etc..

my car is a converted MPI 3 speed, and it deffinately drinks a LOT. i have no odometre though to gauge it. maybe 300 km a tank... this is totally irrelevant though..

Re: General Q about CPI--> MPFI

Huge improvement. On highway get 700km out of a tank compared with about 500km CPI. I drove from Brisbane to Rockhampton on one tank of fuel with 4litres left in the tank.

cheers Luke.
