as the topic says, i got my car dynoed today to try and find out why it dies in the ass after 4600rpm. (as in, will not accelerate at all)
they found that the air/fuel ratio under full throttle was pegged at about 10:1, far richer than it should be (ideally about 12 or so to 1) but could not find a reason, they changed the 02 sensor and the TPS, checked for codes, fuel pressure etc, all to no result (they swapped with spares they had, i was not charged for that) and spent a fair bit of time on the car to try and fault it, current guess is that the computer is FUBAR, which confirms my suspicions.
the car was dynoed at Redcliffe performance and im very happy with them, they spent quite a while on the car, fiddling with it and stuff, and i was only charged the standard rate for one hour, was also very very impressed at the dyno sheets they have for their XR6T - 590hp at the wheels with a stock motor and stock turbo, not sure how much boost though, but measured on an independant dyno, so its not a bullsh!t figure, they also hold the WORLD RECORD for the fastest cleveland powered car, something like 8.8 seconds for the quarter - good stuff!
