I've got Herrod headers, HPC coated and they go great, but you'll find them on the more expensive end of the scale. Probably be a bee's dick worth of difference in the end really.

Mate, if you want the best KW, you'll have to look at the dyno sheets from the manufacturers. It's very difficult to rely on what people tell you they like, 'good' means different things to different people.
Each set of extractors will be a little or a lot different. Looking at the graphs the manufacturer provides will give you overall figures, and tell you where in the rev range the extractors make the best power.

If you have the money I'd have a look at the JMM race series. I just fitteed them to my ute which previously had the standard JMM headers, and as expected it has a slight but noticeable increase in the midrange, most notable at 3000rpm.

They're not like the walkers (lukeys)
2 add to that they have 2 sets
1 (the ones that look like the walkers) at $400
2 (the race prepped ones) at $645 - these give the low down increase at 3000rpm soxx was talkin about and aren't all that flash unless your keen with some porting

Very interesting, so they have there own exhaust manufacturing process bending and welding do they do all that at there shop or is it done of site. If there making there own the way they want I would defiantly go with them we need a set for an AU6 I will give them a call...
