The outer of my harmonic balancer is slipping. From what I figure the timing mark should align with the key on the crank. Is that right?

I have attached a pic showing what I mean.

yeah i know. do you know where the mark is supposed to be? I need to get a TDC mark back on it in a hurry

Go figure, the manual is useless. I can tell you how to line it up with the rocker cover off, but that's probably not much help.

Surely someone else will know though.

easy way is take out no1 plug and dizzy cap off,put a screwdriver or something in and turn till piston is at top,and dizzy aligned with a mark on the outer
