help

hey i have an 88 ea falcon 3.9ltr mpi with about 212 000 k's on the clock. now 1st of all is this engine gonna be capable of around 200- 250 kw's at the wheels and is it gona be reliable or always brake down, and will my borg warner T5 gear box be alright? reconditioned or rebuilt stronger? i like the idea of getting a ba, dohc, 24 valve engine but not sure if it wll fit, or if my gear box will live up to it or even fit on. welll thats is all im gonna ask for now any help would be appreciated even if its scrape the whole project haha cheers

Saw an article where a guy fitted a BA engine to an earlier E series falcon. He had to put a hole in the front of the bonnet to clear the front of the rocker cover. I think it was in a Performance Ford mag. He reckoned he had no choice because he couldn't get the engine low enough in the bay. I'm willing to bet you could get an ED XR6 motor and turbo it for a similar amount. I know they fit, I have one in my EA minus the turbo.
