hey guys im getting a wade cam in 2 weeks. Just wondering which one i should get. 1004@ 110 or 1004@ 112.

i run ED 5spd 4.0l extractors exhaust cold air induction. thats it.
they said 110 will be lumpier but i want to know will it give me that little bit more performance. Im after bang for buck with 1/4 mile so which one is best! thanks. :D

Im a bit confused as i dont know anyone with a 1004@110 cam, alot of people on here run 112's... so whats the go! and why!

If it were me, I'd get the less lumpy one, but if you're after great 1/4mile times and don't mind an irritating idle, go for the big one.

Go the 100 degree lobe separation model for the best 400m ET.

With a manual the lumpy idle wont be a total pain that it would be with an auto.

The 112 is better for an auto which you want to idle in drive nicely for city traffic driving.

ive got the 110, i hate it. Mines auto, but a 110LSA gives the MAP sensor a hernia, hence the idle goes up shitcreek. Grab the 112 LSA, perfect for manuals, 114 is the go for autos

Sorry to hear that even the 112 isn't good with an auto.

Thats why I paid triple the going price for a regrind to JMM for their DEV3HL.

Their big ramp hi lift maximum area under mild duration cam with the heavy duty springs makes good power and idles well in an auto. I am fussy with the idle and its good. The JMM cam strategy is way different to the cam grinders who only think about the mechanics and the flow where as tuners like JMM consider the package inluding the limitations of the stock ecu program.
