Well yesterday my battery DIED well i left the car for a while (i was out) came back and it started. Went all crazy taco all over the place indicators not working drove about 10 feet stalled. Got a jumper stater kit got in car with dad we drove down highway had to keep putting foot further and further to the floor in the end it stalled LOTS of smoke comming from gearbox. Well mum brang down another battery put it in the thing goes CLONK now when i turn the key nothing any ideas? The motor dont seem to be seized im guessing maybe the starter motor what should i check for ?
It could be possible that the starter motor stayed engaged to the flywheel, and was slowly seizing up when you were driving hence the smoke.
If its going clonk, it must be seized.
Was it noisy, ie winding at all?
Either that, or the ECU is fried and possibly selected some wrong solenoid combo's for the auto and blew it up?
