I have a ZL fairlane with an injected 250Xflow and the alternator i have on it is just a crappy xf falcon one. its about 35 amps i think.

At night with the digital dash, the brake lights, indicators and headlights, it doesnt charge the battery at all!

What are my options.

Someone told me that the alternator from an EA/EB falcon are a straight bolt on and are about 90 amps.

is this true?

Need to get one by this w/e!!

I got an 85amp one at home - you interested it.

It is stamped 55 on it, but it has been rewound for 85, due to the stereo I had instaled.

Came off my carby XF.
