EF -Water in oil, I took the head off. Gasket is ok, but water in the 3rd and 4th cylinders. may be a crack?
any way how can I clean engine block, lot of muddy sort of stuff in the timing chamber. my mate said put disel in it?.

Yes you can flush the engine with diesel once its back together.
Just make sure you get all the diesel back out.

Once your pour diesel in the engine, are you able to start the engine?

I heard you are able to put half oil half diesel into your engine and run it for a while to clean it before an oil change.

I haven't done it, is it possible?

...i;ve always wondered how you "flush" your oil system without completely rooting the car...

Yes after i did my head gasket, i dropped the oil, put in 5lt of Diesel and ran the motor for 5 mins to bring it up to temp.
Then i dropped the diesel, put in 5lt or cheap oil, ran that for f mins and around the block.
then i dropped that replaced the oil filter and put my good oil in.
Never had any problems.

Isn't diesel way way too thin to lubircate well at all?

Just dont rev it above about 1000rpm with the diesel in there.

Yea I flush with diesel myself, was told yrs ago to do it.
