Re: How do i fix my Hunting?????????

Could be a manifold gasket leak, same thing happened to me, I ran around thinkin maybe its the map sensor no maybe the ISC, no maybe the oxygen sensor maybe the TPS. As it turned out it was just a manifold leak. Sometimes with all these technical innovations on the engine, we often overlook the basics, Dont know for sure that this would be it, but at least a good place to start.

Hope this helps

Good Luck

Glen

Try turning idle up alittle??
Take note how much so you can return to original settings..It's you idle motor steping in and increasing idle to prevent stall...

The throttle position switch plays a huge role to idle on the ford engines. Mine was shocking, for no reason it would just creep up to about 1500 rpm then drop down. I replaced the TPS and all my problems disappeared.

have seen this with tps before, manifold leak more likely to run rough not hunt up and down, but its possible.
