I'm getting between 400-450 k's out of a full tank in my EF Fairmont Ghia 95'. Is that normal? I always run it on Optimax as that gave me the most k's in my XF Fairmont Ghia 85'. I don't race everywhere either, I pretty much drive like a grandpa 99% of the time hehe.

Sounds about right to me.
Depending on traffic, conditions and how I feel like driving I can get anywhere from 350-650kms out of a tank. Peak hour traffic mixed with lots of red line really does kill my economy
Cheers EBXR! The site is awesome.
Yeh I only really drive to work which is only 5 mins away so I guess that wouldn't help much. I actually had a flat battery no long ago and I think it was due to so many 5 min trips

Hehe yes I've been contemplating that for years now. I work nights however, filling shelves at the local supermarket, so the idea of riding at night doesn't grab me and after a hard night's work I really don't think I could be stuffed riding home lol. One day I'll pull my finger out hehe.
Actually after paying $1.21 a litre for petrol the other day I did give it some more serious thought.
