Guy's i think it say's in the manual the sump capacity is 5.5Litres. Is that correct, im going out to buy oil now but i don't wanna buy 2 bottles of Mobile 1! Unless i have to?

Mate you only need to use 5lt.5.5is from totaly empty, say after a rebuild or sumthing like that.Make sure you fill the oil filter before you put it on, then the rest of the oil in the crank case.

the sump capacity may be 5.5 litres but the oil filter holds .5 of a litre.
if you change the oil filter you are gonna have to buy 2 bottles unless you can buy a 1 litre bottle which i'm sure you can.

I have been doing oil changes on Falcons for 12 years, and ive never had to put more tham 5 lt in the engine.
If you measure how much comes out you wont even get 5lts.
The 5 lt will cover the sump and filter.

I only use 5 litres in mine and I always change the filter. This gives me oil up to about 4/5th full on the dipstick. If I put in 5.5 litres it would end up overful!

Cheer guy's! i thought 5.5 was alittle too much after my old boy added this much and it was overfull! I'll put the whole bottle of Mobile 1 in, i could only find a coper oil filter, what filters do you guy's use? I wanted to get MObile 1, but noone sold it.

You mean a Cooper filter?

They arnt to bad, i normally just use a Ryco, never had any drama's.
