ive recently baught an ea falcon and it suposedly has a 4l head on it.

is there a serial number on it or something similar to identify it?

if its EB it will have 91AA on the front
EA 3.9l + 3.2l
EF 94 AB
EB Tickford a big fat T in the middle (i got one)
EF Tickford the T in the middle followed by 94 DT

so basicly if it dosent have 3.9l on the bottom left on the front of the head then it wont be an EA head.

it has "3 b9 /-" on the left hand side next to the 1st exhaust port.

so what is that supposed to mean.

that is just some stamp ford put on all their heads just different numbers and letters dont know what the mean though. as for the front of the head it must have some identification. its probably filthy. id say its a regular 3.9 head as the writing on it is very small. unless someone ground the numbers/letters off the front?
