i put a resistor back on the water temp sensor to make sure.. still ran the same. No batteries for the multimeter, so cant test each sensor as yet. The CFI has never run right from the start so want to chuck it.
Alex: Your price sounds MUCH better than the wreckers up here.. they all want around $400 for just the manifold and computer and a small section of loom.
I have the manifold, TB and fuel rail. you can have the lot for $120
You will still need some extra stuff like injectors and wiring loom and such, um I may have a TPS but no fuel pressure regulator Rollin has mine in his car.
You could also use an EF/EL/AU motor as it will bolt straight in. Use the ED injector harness on the intake manifold.
I recommend you keep the car (hah, big surprise ) For the price of a newer secondhand one you can make yours very fast and very reliable.

Otherwise i'll probably go the newer motor after a bit of saving and really see what the T5 is capable of!
PS: sad thing.. 3 weeks ago after a retune to fix the bog down after lending the car to a friend for a week.. the thing was spinning wheels in 1st and 2nd and felt like a turbo cut in around 4000 revs. Now it wont even idle!
