I6 Headwork ???
Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone had any headwork done to their six cylinders?? Eg, porting and pollishing, different inlet manafolds ect. I own a El XR6 with a SVO spots exhaust and including stainless headers, 2 1/2 inch ect.
If you have the 5ltr motor there seems to be heaps of aftermarket heads and inlet manafolds and stuff you can get for them but nothing for the I6.
I am thinking of getting Mick from SVO to do a porting job on the head to get a bit more resposiveness out of the motor. As you don't seem to be able to buy any bolt on sports parts.
Any comments would be appericated. But I don't want to go turbo or blown thanks.
PS. It's got a auto behind it and is mainly my work/play car. As I have another car for the family.
