I have a 1968 Ford Falcon I6 200. What Engine parts are direct swaps I.E. what cars and years. I've seen a shop manual for the Falcon, Torino, and the Mustang would it bee safe to say at least these cars from 1968 with I6 200 engines are the same?

the 170, 200 and 250 have interchanchable heads...actually the only difference is the height of the engine...the piston stroke is different...most parts are interchacgeable with these different engines....everything should be interchangable between them as long as its a 200, the year really doesnt matter...except for the newer 250 heads have bigger valves which would be a good swap to have on a 200..may have to mill the head a bit though to raise the compression ratio a bit...
