I would recommend giving rob or jeff a call.. they make the stuff so I expect they would know what the best cams for a certain application will be !

ive got thwe herrod cam in my car its in actual fact a stage 2 crow cam, it really makes the car pull alot harder mid range to top end torque than the stock cam, he charges $660 fitted with dyno before and after runs and the vernier cam gear

series3 xr8 5 speed manual, pacemaker extractors, hi flow cats, 3 inch exhaust, lowered cold air intake, k&n air filter, 3.9 diff gears

yeh the idle on its pretty good its not too rough but it is fairly lump with an exhaust and extractors u also get a lumpier deeper sound right thru the rev range
i think itas actually more than $660 coz he threw in the vernier gear for the extra 60 bucks cam was $600 fitted and crow cams charge $150 for the vernier gear, prices may have come down now as i had this done a little under a year ago

yeah I was thinking of fitting a cam to mine, I have to live with old EF for another 5-6 months....so I thought I'd fit a cam, it might sell better too....so what's the Crow stage 3 cam like??

according to Crow, they only got 120rwkws out of an EF with extractors!!! I've got 130rwkws now!!!

anyhoo some advice would be greatly appreciated...

Dave.
