Idling Problem

My idle seems to be surging after the car is started and warmed up just races high then back down etc. Not sure how to correct this problem if anyone can help or has any information on this i would appreciate it. Thanks

Does it do this just after crank up, or does it do it all the time while running ?

My next Ford.....

Mine surges up and down. It can be caused by a failing IAC or as simple as adjusting you TPS. Always check you idle first before you decide it's either.

Does any electric device/s come on just as it surges up and the device/s turn off as it surges down? Just curious if it's rev'in up to compinsate for the added pull on the battery. This shouldnt cause it to rev too high though.

How high does the engine rev up btw??
