Ignition Systems

Anyone run after market ignitions for their carby fed, electric ignition engines?
What stage of hotting would an aftermarket one be worthy?
Are they worth the money?

Any reputable brands?

Cheers

No they are not worth the money, unless you are pulling heaps of revs(6500+) constantly as in a race car. Lots of tests have been done before, and on nearly any street engine it's a waste. The power remains the same. Just put a new coil, etc in(decent brand) and that's it.
