Hi Everybody

Before (or during ) my EL engine update what inexpensive mods can I do to improve
overall performance.

I guess the most obvious is a K&N panel filter are there any other easy and inexpensive things to do ? note that the car will be running on LPG most of the time.

It has been suggested that I put in a " Blank " cat, ie. one that has no internals,
any comments on this?, ( apart from the obvious "naughty" )

You'd (hopefully) get more than a slap on the wrist if caught, and I seriously doubt you'd notice an improvement.

The #1 mod I'd recommend is sourcing diff gears from a VL or Skyline and put them into your housing. Then you can look at a cold air intake etc...

put a decent cam in... i havent looked under the bonnet of a car running on gas. Are you able to put extractors on???

Diff gears are great too.

when u put diff gears from a VL or Skyline do they go straight in, and if your cars a single spinner will it make it lsd or ? and what tyoe of gears should you look for ? any one or is there a specific one from a sky or vl?
