Question [Injector Sizes] XR6

As the title sugests, i'm after injector sizes for the following XR6 models if possible.

* EA/EB/ED XR6
* EF/EL XR6
* AU XR6
* BA XR6

I was also wondering if fitting new injectors is a simple a changing sparkies for example.

Thanks for your time.

Re: [Injector Sizes] XR6

I can't find a definate answer so any help would be great, EA/EB/ED i believe are around 19lb/hr and EF/EL about 24lb/hr. Does this sound right ?

Also between models EF -> BA, are the injectors (not in terms of flow rates) the same size? i.e will they fit in either ?

Re: [Injector Sizes] XR6

oh ok, also what to people mean when they say 300CC injectors compared to 24lb injectors, is it just different measurements, i.e KW & HP ?

And will BA XR6T injectors fit onto an EFXR6 ? the reason i ask is that my mate is upgrading his injectors on his XR6T and is selling them off cheap.

Thanks again.

Re: [Injector Sizes] XR6

Found an older thread thats answers part of the question :)

measurement is lb of fuel per hr...

cc - lb/hr multiply by 10.2
lb/hr - bhp multiply by 2.04

^^ sounds about right, means that the EF-AU is about 250CC.

Does anyone know what size injectors the BA XR6T have ? and will they fit into my EFXR6?

Cheers

Nath

Re: [Injector Sizes] XR6

I think i read somewhere that the fuel pump was bigger from EF on and the injectors were bigger from AU on not quite shure though

the xr6 had the same injectors as standard I6 engines as far as i know

Re: [Injector Sizes] XR6

agree with Walkinshaw. EA to EL same part number 19lb/hr, AU different part number and same flow rate. BA injectors are not suitable as they are a duel spray injector. There was a bit of wrong info on the net about late EL and AU having 24lb injectors. That is wrong
