Well the forced intuction project has been put on the back burner, cos I now have a house to pay off. So I am just going to make the 6 a bit tougher. I am now looking at doing the mpfi conversion, instead of using all the gear on the other engine.
I want to run bigger injectors to go with the stage 2 crow (to go in with the conversion) and the head work I have done. What can the standard computer handle? Cos I don't want to have to put in the heltech and get it dyno tuned and get all the maps set. Inturn spending more $$$

it seems the standard ecu can handle 170 rwkw, the only downside being a tad lumpy at idle

Why go up in injector size?
You will find that yours are nowhere near 100% duty cycle.

I have a set of bosch 775 injector from the forced induction project and I was considering putting them in if the computer could handle the 60cfm flow.

If you want a good injector for forced inductoin, get a set of tr magna injestors. you will get them for around $50 each

You will probably find that at the moment your car will be running a bit rich.
I changed the fuel pressure regulator in mine yesterday, i put in a stock 4lt one, instead of the XR6 one.
The car is so much more responsive, livlierand feels much better as a whole.
So using bigger injectors will probably just dump in more fuel, and run like crap.

Especially if not set up properly in the ECU or not tuned. However, properly tuned and programmed and I don't see why you'd have a problem.

Of course, I have to wonder why you'd want them in the first place. You won't need them.

as everyone else has said - you wont need them.

there are a few guys on here with crow stage 3 cams and head work, and the injectors are nowhere near their capacity yet.

get the head and the cam done, then get a run on the dyno and see what your A/F ratios are - im betting they will be rich, if anything.

Ive heard the Magna injectors are very good for forced induction.
