were the shims, just the upper parts out of the lifters??? THats all i used, i bet you braught them from rex gorel... I got mine out of an old engine i had laying around

If you get a mate to hold the gear up, you can get the cam in and out without having to undo the chain tensioner.... the shims go behind the lifters, simply pull each one out and put the extra shim in..

fuel consumtion is 30 litrers gets me about 220 km, thats around town driving, with a lil bit of hard driving.. VERY happy with the cam love the results
